Pie Tee
ingredients (A)
40g glutinous rice flour
120g rice flour
40g all purpose flour
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 nos egg
1/2 tsp salt
200ml water

Filling ingredients:
700g yam bean/sengkuang (peeled and julienned)
200g carrot (peeled and julienned)
4 cloves garlic (chopped)
4 pc shallots (chopped)
200g small prawn
1 &1 /3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soysauce
1/2tsp pepper powder
salt to taste

topping ingredients:
Egg(2 nos ,fried and sliced)
Fried shallots(sliced and fried)
red chillies (chopped)

chilli sauce:
6 red chili
3 chili padi
2 cloves garlic
lime juice (2 limes)
1 Tsp vinegar
2 tbsp castor sugar
1/2 tsp salt

 

 

Method:
1.Skin: Combine all ingredients (A) ,mix well, set aside for 1 hour.

2.Heat up oil in a wok, coat preheated Pie Tee mould with batter from method (1),transfer immediately into hot oil ,deep fry until golden brown and crispy.

3.Heat up some oil in a wok ,add in garlic and shallot to fry,followed by small prawns and other ingredients and seasonings, stir fry until fragrant. Dish up and set aside.

4. Beat 2 nos of egg ,pan fry and slice it.

5. Blend all the ingredients of chili sauce.

6.Fill Pie Tee skin will filling and sprinkle the topping ingredients on it. Serve with chili and enjoy !
